Swimmers from the Special Olympics participated in the community integration programs of the Emirates International Swimming Championship, which is hosted by the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai, and organized by the Emirates Swimming Federation and the IBEX Swimming Academy. The championship started on Friday, March 17, and its effectiveness continued till Sunday, March 19, 2023, with the participation of more than 1,000 swimmers and swimmers from water sports clubs and teams in the UAE, and several foreign teams from the countries of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Qatar, Oman, and others. This participation comes within the framework of preparing the players for the upcoming international and regional events and tournaments, as well as the World Summer Games in Berlin in June 2023.
